Artistic Properties

In search for inspiration I found myself visiting Vaughan Williams childhood home in Leith Hill Place, Surrey. I guess I have always been drawn to Vaughan Williams with his links to Norfolk (my home county), folk based music and his unmistakable simpleness shown with ‘no airs or graces’ as a character and in his way of life displayed in and outside of the walls of Leith Hill Place – previously owned by Charles Darwin, his uncle. A Close Encounter

In recently viewing film ‘Paul‘ I can’t help feel a similar resemblance to the alien Paul albeit rather be-musingly. In recently landing at a music event on the music ‘planet’ my long, lost return visit luckily did not cause side effects of fainting or too much shock that often harmless, friendly alien Paul often gets in the film. I think to resolve this I may need to invest in an alien outfit for future music planet visits, I will check with Paul (pictured) for the best suit. Working with support

One guitar performance that will stay with me for a lifetime was when I was being asked: “Are you OK?” Who asked me this and where? That will be revealed in time.
